Coated Ultra Thin blades to reduce paint damage. The coating protects automotive paint from scratches and damage while cutting out windshields or back glasses with exposed pinch welds. The coating is applied heavily to the backside of the blade where it is needed, but very thin on the inside surface which goes against the glass. This feature is critical because of the limited clearance between the glass and pinch weld due to new vehicle design. These blades are 40% thinner than the Original Steel Blades. Surpasses the strength and durability of the original steel blade due to a two-step coining process that compresses the material which is then heat-treated creating a stronger blade.
