Shims fit neatly behind the hinge plate; door can remain in place during installation with one of the screws backed out part way. Slightly wedge shaped for additional control during installation. Shims fold easily by hand into a “z” pattern creating a triple thick shim to fill larger gaps. Easily cut or trimmed with a knife or side cutters. 1/16″ adjustment per shim. High impact plastic won’t shrink, warp, split, rot, mold, or mildew.
